2010: July: Lance has found a new home! I do not have any puppies available at this time. May: The puppy named "Lance" is available to a PET home. Andy is still looking, too! April: One of Ellie's male puppies will be available. 2009: October: Andy (Firerose Andvari), my three-legged fellow, is looking for a home. What he needs: a person that can give him a lot of attention, be a dog with perhaps one other small dog of the toy breeds to live with (no big dogs, please). He also needs a home that will give him a job to do! Andy is bright, active, and loves attention. He loves lap time and being brushed. He enjoys walks, retrieving favorite toys, and at one time, was almost trained through Utility when he lost his leg. He would be happy competing in UKC obedience and rally. (He has his AKC CD & RE, and his UKC CD and would need a brush-up on Open.) He also enjoyed being a therapy dog, and would easily go back into that job, especially to help people who are missing a limb. He really is an inspirational little guy! 2009: April: No puppies available / no litters currently planned.
8/27/08: Ellie has had a nice litter of 4 puppies. Availability has been determined, and was dependent on which ones are kept by myself or the stud owners for future showing, and the results of their evaluations. Ellie has 3 males and 1 female. 11/25: The pups were assessed at 8 weeks of age for temperament and suitability for the breed and/or performance events. Pat Hastings, who evaluated the litter, and I are in complete agreement as to what each puppy is suited for. The female puppy (Jo Jo) is looking for a pet home, that will include walking & companion obedience training. She may also be trained for rally obedience, and therapy dog work, AND be spoiled rotten!
Jo Jo Male puppy #1 (Johnny), with white on the left ear, is looking for a performance home. He is suited to obedience and agility (and has been jumping/climbing out of the baby size puppy pen that is 14" tall to the ledge by it, where he teases his littermates).
Johnny Male pups #3 (Jasper) and # 4 (James) are show prospects, and will be held for further evaluation and future showing.
Jasper & James 12/19: The puppies had their second vet check up, including their second vaccination. :-) No problems! They will soon be packing overnight bags and visiting friends for an evening as part of their sociaization. Younger puppy Yoda went 12/19 to the vet for his first checkup, microchipping and vaccination, and is 'normal and boring'. Yoda is being held for further evaluation.

11/21: The puppies have also had their first vet check up, which included their first vaccination, microchipping, and physical exam. At this visit, all knees were sound and tight, hearts sounded normal, and the pups are very healthy. The earliest a pup can go home is after Christmas. Socialization: The pups have visited 3 different training facilities, where they watched the dogs being trained from a pen, and were petted and held. They've also been visiting to a couple different friends homes with different kinds of dogs, and handled it all very well. They will continue to visit different places, meet new people and see new dogs. If you are interested, please send an e-mail introducing yourself, why you would like one of my puppies, what your plans are for the puppies (future goals & events, training, spaying/neutering, socialization, etc).
9-25-08: Ellie has 4 new pups, 3 males and 1 female, sired by Snapdragon.
Billie's puppy is just coming up on 7 weeks on Monday, and will be evaluated the week of 12/8. 10-13-0: Billie has 1 new pup, a sable male sired by Andy.
