Meshach became very ill early in 2011. At first pancreatitis was diagnosed, but he wasn't getting better with the meds and change in food. He went from 7 lbs to approximately 4 lbs in the space of 2.5 months. His tiny body has been sent to WSU; we are awaiting that report for a definitive reason (or reasons). My thoughts are with Chrysty and Mike; the emotional toll is so draining. | ||||||

One his best friends: Yes, it IS the Great Dance who played "Marmaduke" in the movie! (Maybe his Hollywood connection can land some parts for Meshach!)
He loves his family, and they love him!

Here's my new corner of the world! Pretty neat! I have a cool toybox full of toys, and great box to chew on. See my new bed - it's PINK. (I'm not supposed to know that!). Shsssh -- we are taking a nap! (Psst: I got my way the first night! I had a FIT and was taken into the bedroom to sleep! I am a good trainer!) I hear I start training this coming week. I will have to work extra hard at training my new family. | ||||||||||||||||||

My name is in the process of changing, from Lance, to Meshach. I also will be moving house, from my birthplace to Renton, WA to live with the Hendricks family. (Don't ask what I have in my mouth. I pick up lots of things...but I think it's hair) I had a good interview with my prospective, I mean, my new family. They were very interactive with me, which is a good thing from my perspective. They even presented a toy to me, but mom had them keep it (I don't go home for another week) so I would have something with my scent for the ride home. | ||||||||||||||||||

Even thought both moms were d iscussing training and first mom gave some recommendations for trainers/facilities, I will need to get a jump on training Hendricks as soon as I'm in the car with them (couldn't get away with much with my mom). (Do you think I can manage to train them? I think I can! I think I can! I think I can!) Anyway - I hope my page will be updated with new photos and what I'm doing as I grow up. | ||||||||||||||||||
