Now that Oscar has his Companion Dog titles, he is training for Open.

Oscar is from Jacqueline Lakerink (Oscar is a Dutch import, his breeder now lives in Germany). Aptly named for a hurricane, he is at times just that. He has the ability to coax a smile from me most any time he wishes to do so. As you can see in the photo above, he takes modeling very seriously, and is ready to do the job when asked.

Oscar is a very special dog for me, very much my 'heart' dog. He is a constant companion but not a lapsitter; smart and quick, and even a clown at times.

Oscar was suddenly taken from me, something I never expected. I thought he would be with me well into his old age for many years to come. I love you, sweet boy - you will always be in my heart. We had many good times training and playing together, and your cheerful attitude and willing, playful nature will always be what I remember.

Oct. 08 Oscar was shown in Veteran's Sweepstakes (Conformation)at the Toy Trials and took 2nd in his class. He showed well, had fun and it was like he'd never left the ring.
